silk on canvas

i learnt a lot from this piece. that tension was either making, or literally breaking the construction of the weave. i needed it to hold and stay, but a little over zealousness made the silk either break it’s own structure, or of the columns. that balance needed to be maintained, weaving all of the columns almost simultaneously. the fact that i had canvas on all four sides to hold this whole thing together saved my sanity, and made it possible for the woven silk to shine bright. and white.
